Frequently Asked Questions

What are the deadlines for getting a response?
You will receive an acknowledgement within 7 days and feedback within 3 months, in line with EU Directive 2019/1937.
What happens to my report after it is submitted?
Your report is received by the designated case handlers, who assess it and, where appropriate, open an investigation.
Who will have access to my report?
Only the authorised case handlers can access your report. Access is logged and audited.
How can I track the status of my report?
Use the tracking code you received to follow the status and exchange messages with the case handlers.
I forgot/I lost the code generated to follow the report. What can I do?
For security reasons the code cannot be recovered. If necessary, you can submit a new report.
What is the difference between anonymity and confidentiality?
Anonymity means no personal data is collected. Confidentiality means your identity is known to the case handlers but protected from disclosure.
If I choose the "anonymity" option, will no one know who I am?
Correct. When you choose anonymity, no personal data is collected and no identifying metadata is stored with the report.
